The variable stroke weight offers flexible application to match the weight of the typeface or maintain a unfied weight across different icon sizes. This technique makes this icon system very flexible for all kinds of different applications.

Scaleable. This group shows how the icons scale while maintaining the line strength. The S icon actually is the Bold version, the M icon is the Regular and the L icons is the Light version.

Voilá! The L & S icons share the same line strength. The L is scaled up from the Light icon, the S is scaled down from the Bold icon.

Exploration for »LED Light«. This group of icons show, how many options can lead to a simple solution. The new B/S/H/ appliances come with LED Lights (opposed to the previous regular light bulbs). The challenge was to find a symbol that follows the old icon but also implements the new technology.
